Summer Fashion Finds
Despite it only being Spring, Summer fashions are already filling my inbox and taking over some of my favorite sites. I’ve decided to lean in and let the daydreaming begin. Cool Fabrics for Hot Ass Weather
A friend of mine asked me for some good basics to survive the unforgiving heat of summers in Texas. Sometimes linens and other cooling fabrics can be boring, but I think I found some good basics. Find what works for you and your style. This might be mean wearing linen head to toe or it might mean wearing a linen shirt as a jacket over a dress. I’ve highlighted a few brands that are new to me and some that aren’t.

Spring Cleaning Reminders
-Sprinkler maintenance, repairs, and set up for the season
-Gutter Cleaning
-Pressure wash/soft wash house, walkways, deck, etc.
-HVAC maintenance (I do maintenance on my system 2x a year to make sure it’s in top shape and ready for the hot days ahead)
-Mulch flower beds if needed
-Tree and plant pruning if needed
-Clean outdoor lights (get all those bugs and gunk out to keep your lights looking good and not rusting)
-Spray for pests on a regular basis around the perimeter of your foundation to ward off any unwanted visitors
-Spray yard for mosquitos, fleas, and ticks on a regular basis
-Put away seasonal items you no longer need
