Spring is always a busy time for homeowners. Tis the season where gutters are cleaned, houses are pressure washed, sprinkler systems are turned on, lawns are cut, flowers are planted, hvac systems are serviced, and mosquitos are dealt with amongst countless other things we do to care for our homes. But more than anything, it’s time to shed the darkness of winter and embrace the newness of spring. While it’s unrealistic to redecorate our spaces every season (wouldn’t that be nice), it’s always fun to make a few changes to jeuje things up. Maybe it’s changing your bedding, swapping out throws, adding touches to your outdoor space, or rearranging furniture. For me, I like the idea of changing pillows around in areas where I spend most of my time. Pillows can really transform the feel of a space and inject new life and color into it. One day, I dream of having a collection of pillows I can rotate in and out as I please.
Below are a few pillows in all different shapes, sizes, and patterns that have caught my eye lately.

I went a little overboard with today’s style snacks, because spring is my favorite season and I get really excited. It’s the season of easy, effortless dresses during the day that can be dressed up with a fun duster, kimono (if you know me you know I love a kimono- currently eyeing this one), or sweater in the evening. It’s the time of year I begin my (never ending) quest to find the perfect white tee. The unicorn white tee that pairs well with jeans, trousers, sweaters, skirts, and linens. In the past, my go to tees have been by Splendid and J.Crew.
Because this quest usually takes me a fair amount of trail and error, I am sharing the specific tees I will be trying out this year with all of you. I tend to gravitate towards a relaxed v-neck tee, but I also like to keep a great white tank and crewneck (because Morgan Stewart said so) in my repertoire as well.
Full disclosure, I tend to invest in basics like simple dresses and every day tees, because I’ll wear them countless times and countless ways. Since these are things I get a lot of wear out of, it’s important to me they are quality pieces that will last and hold their shape, because they’re a staple, not a trend in my closet.
