Before we get into some Valentine’s Day prep. I have some hot home tips (These are things I never do and always forget to do, so I’m forcing myself to do them now) to share that I just did.
Clean your clothes washer filter (I always forget about this)
Clean dishwasher filter
Change out HVAC filters (I try to do this every few months and have a reminder in my phone) to keep your system running efficiently
Walk house perimeter to make sure no new access points for critters to get inside (I like to do this once a year and what do you know I just found a new spot that I will have meshing put over to block)
Schedule pressure wash for house, deck, walkways for the Spring (some places run specials if you go ahead and book for end of February/early March)
Schedule gutter clean for the Spring if needed
Now onto Valentine’s Day. There is nothing worse than scrambling to get things ordered and sorted for a holiday at the last minute, so I urge you to get your shopping done! Give yourself a stress free (or minimal stress) holiday.
If you need to buy Valentine’s for your kids’ classrooms, check these out. And don’t forget about the previous Valentine’s Day collages I’ve posted!
