My version of camping is going outside on my patio and backyard. As a result, I’m very picky about outdoor furniture. I like pieces that are sturdy, long lasting, and low maintenance. I can’t stand when furniture covers cost as much as the furniture or I have to bring outdoor furniture inside in the off season. The easier the better.
Since I live somewhere with four seasons, it’s important I look for quality pieces made of certain types of materials. If I still lived in California, I would have teak furniture galore and more porous materials, but since we get rain and snow in Virginia, those aren’t my first choices as I want to avoid covering and moving furniture after the Summer.
