My Favorite Holiday Is This Week
Black Friday
Black Friday is my favorite (unofficial) holiday. I love all the deals; I prefer to shop when things are 20% off or higher to fight big, bad inflation and stretch my budget. Every year I like to have a plan so I pinpoint exactly what I need/want/will use to spend my money wisely. The older I get, the more I’m drawn to classics I will wear a long time and get a lot of use out of it (I’m so evolved). My style has become more cemented and steers towards quality over quantity. The instant gratification from ripping open a package doesn’t thrill me like it used to, now knowing what looks good and feels good on me is more thrilling. If I like something trendy, I will spend much less on it than a classic piece, because I won’t get enough wear out of it. Younger Meg wouldn’t believe how "sensible” I’ve become!
