Interiors
I’m hyper-fixating on several house things right now. There are so many projects I want to do, and so much decorating I want to finish. Yet, there are pressing, unexpected things that are knocking the dream projects further down the punch list. My kitchen faucet magnet is rotting after 5 years, so I need to replace it, which has taken me down a faucet rabbit hole (who knew faucets could be so gorgeous and so expensive). I need to repair a few areas of my fence and while I’m at it I should consider pressure washing and staining/sealing to keep it in good shape for as long as possible. My laundry room is desperate for a few floating shelves to display vases and other goodies. And I need to work on some landscaping in my backyard; my neighbors knocked down 5 trees that provided so much privacy for us both- I currently live in a fishbowl.
I feel overwhelmed and wonder how I’ll chip away at at all. Will I be working on my house forever? There always seems to be something to do. But, it’s also really fun to tweak and create new spaces. I will continue to obsess about things I need to deal with in the near future and the things I dream of doing thanks to my obsession/addiction of studying spaces (It’s genetic, hi Dad).

Fashion
I’m leaning into light, easy summer fashion, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be chic! Breezy dresses, stripes, whites, sandals, and wicker are popping off this year. And don’t forget a great sun hat to add another layer to your outfit, but also to protect your skin!
