I might be the only person who doesn’t care about the viral Alaia Le Teckel Bag. It looks like a knife carrier bag that chefs use. I cannot and will not get behind this trend. The Row’s Margaux bag is a big deal (and being discontinued by the way so the secondhand market is about to surge), but I will never spend that much on a bag unless it’s a classic Hermes Kelly (ONE DAY. Also I do not like the Birkin and find it impractical). Would I accept the Margaux if someone gave it to me? DUH. But If someone gave me the Alaia Le Teckel bag, I would sell it. I’m not a huge fan of bags that are too trendy and a million people have, because how do you know whose bag is whose at a party? For me, trendy bags have a time and place, but spending money on them ain’t it. Trends are inherently fleeting, so you just don’t get the same use out of a trend as you do a classic. Is someone really going to get a ton of use out of these Miu Miu shoes that offend me. NOPE.
Personally, I take a more classic approach to fashion. I like things I can wear over and over again and feel good in. Hence, why I love black. I find it chic and versatile. But I also really love a POP of something. Particularly animal print. I think animal print is a neutral by the way. I love this kids leopard jacket, someone please get it! And I love these leopard platform heels. And I also really love Pucci. And Etro. So funky and fun!
