Anytime I feel off, I blame the planets, because isn’t that what they’re there for? I’ve been feeling the end of summer exhaustion and overwhelm for the fall like most people. So naturally, I spent my weekend flipping through design books and instagrams looking at beautiful things to right my mood. Then I got a wild hair and I made a Shop My Page, so everything I link in Style Snacks is now in one place, including a section for the most recent newsletter! I hope you find it helpful and enjoy. Happy shopping!
Today is the last day answering this fabulous Style Snacks question about living rooms.
Dear Style Snacks, I am dying to know, if money were absolutely no object what would your decor picks be? Maybe for a bedroom, living room and kitchen? Would be so fun to look at. XO
I love a cozy, warm living room. After living in LA for 10 years, I’m very drawn to bright, white, minimal spaces that still feel cozy, warm, and not too precious (think laid back but still put together). I do love pops of color through rugs, upholstery (like in #6 and blue chairs in #4), architecture (like the beautiful marble doorway in #4), and art (like in #2 and #7) to add personalization to a space, which makes it feel like a home.

Lately, I find myself drawn to more colorful living rooms. I love a dramatic glossy paint (like in #15), blue walls (like in #11, #13, #17), funky rugs (like in #10), fun upholstery (like in #14, #17), and a layered space (like in #12, #13, #16). I love the juxtaposition of classic and modern while still being warm (like $9, #10, #14) most of all and those seem to fit my current lifestyle the best. But there is also nothing better than a snuggly, colorful room to feel hugged and enveloped by.
